Melody woke up in an instantly good mood. She didn't know why but today was gonna be a great day. She gets out of bed, but immediately trips and falls flat on her face.
"Ow that really hurt...." She said, but still not getting discouraged. She picked herself back up and looked down at her floor, there was a box in the middle of her floor.
"Huh what could that be?" She wondered. She put the box on her bed and immediately opened it. Inside was a note, with only a small message written on it:
May all your dreams come true.
Melody wondered what the note could mean. She tossed it aside and looked further into the box. Inside was a very curious object, it looked like a futuristic tv remote. It was small and blue, and only had a few buttons on it. There was a dial with numbers from 1 to 10 on it, and two other large buttons, one labeled 'Shrink' and the other labeled 'Grow'.
"Shrink and grow? Does this really change the size of things?" Melody asked herself. This was certainly an interesting start to her day. She layed the remote on the bed and got dressed, in a simple white tank top and mini jean skirt, with pink flip flops. Even she had to admit, she looked really cute. What will she do now?
