It hadn't taken the creature long to leave the beach town behind and get into the woods, all the while enjoying the delicious struggling of it's dinner. The screaming had lasted nearly the entire night, and the creature was disappointed when it finally stopped. Though the gorgeous slice of suburbia it stumbled upon soon after was more than enough to make up for the loss of company. Pollis was practically the poster of a perfect suburb, perfect little houses sitting in the middle of equally perfect lawns, each silently looking out into the street. There was even a large park in the center of town. The creature made sure to drop the steaming pile of club girl at the edge of the woods before moving into the town. It was still dark, and would be yet for a while. The park looked massive, and it appeared to be heavily wooded. The perfect place to make it's home. However it was still hungry, and wanted a midnight snack before settling in to wait out the day. It moved towards the richer neighborhoods with a purpose, the yards and homes much bigger, providing a comfortable level of privacy, but a distance that would keep any neighbors from hearing anything suspicious.
The creature scaled the fence with ease, it's ghostly form gracefully sliding up and over with nary a pair of eyes to see it's uncharacteristic grace. The house lay just ahead of it, and the creature's eyes took in every detail greedily. It was massive, more a mansion than a house, with a large pool almost entirely hidden away by tall stoic bushes keeping standing vigil against perverts and crooks. A massive bay window across the front of the home gave the creature the perfect view into the dark red home. The stairs on either side of the home, the sprawling kitchen with its massive counters of marble. All sleeping quietly, unsuspecting of the monster lurking outside. And all it took for that creature to get inside, was the conveniently open window on the second floor of the west wing of the home. It was only a blink of the eye before the creature was up the side of the home and through the window.
