"What the hell did this thing do to us? LUKE! Get down here you dork!"
Erika looks down at her paws in absolute shock, and rage. You had turned her into an animal, AGAIN. She was absolutely livid, and almost by its own accord, she was locked into a barking fit.
Hearing the noise, your body enters the garage and sees your sister standing by the machine with your dog. "Oh shit."
"What the fuck is this thing, Luke?"
He sighs, and leans down to check on Jake's body to confirm who was inside, only to be met with a tackle from the dog. "Erika, please calm down! I can explain!" he shouts.
"I am calm," your sister's body replies.
"Not you!" he says.
After a few minutes, Erika calms down and backs off long enough for him to explain.
"This was supposed to be a body swapping device, but it's not working properly. I tested it with myself and Jake, and a copy of my mind was transferred into Jake's body. He must have found you and tried to swap with you, but then overwrote his own personality with yours... That's you in there."
"You, WHAT? You... You put a copy of yourself in Jake, and then you tried to steal my body?!"
"The copy of me. An imperfect copy, clearly."
"So where the hell is Jake?"
"I'm not sure. I'm trying to figure out how to bring him back, but my copy panicked. I'm worried we really will lose him if any more overwrites happen."
Erika is listening to this, and starts becoming more and more furious. She just got turned into a dog, and now her brother was calling her a "copy" of herself. She was sharp enough to know that bringing Jake back meant erasing her from existence.
