The human version you watches the dog you carefully, noticing something is off. "Jake?" He asks.
You shake your head side to side to say, "No!"
"Oh shit... Who are you?"
You try to speak, but only a bark comes out. Frustrated and unsure of how to answer a question like that, you walk over to your body, obviously still struggling with the four legs thing, and tap a paw on your own shoe.
The human version of you raises a hand to his head and sighs. He sits down. "Oh shit. I duplicated my mind and put it in your body."
You try and say, "That's not it! My swap was successful, you just think you're me!" but again, only barks. You had hoped some of Jake's mind was still in there, and he could understand you, but to no avail.
"This is a disaster. If a copy of my mind is in there, Jake's mind might be gone. I have no idea how I could bring him back.I basically just killed my dog..."
You start barking wildly, as this duplicate of you seems to gloss over the true nature of this predicament: You're trapped in the body of your dog, and Jake, who is now in your body, thinks he's you. You need to get a human body so you can talk this out with him.
