"Come with me," Erika grabs you by the arm and leads you back to the garage. "This is my brother's latest invention, mum told me he went out so let's figure out what it does before he gets back," she says as she looks over your machine.
You freeze up as you realized the situation you were in, you were currently pretending to be Karen and Erika admired her, if she figured out your machine was a body switching machine she might want to swap with Karen.
"It looks like it's finished," Erika examined the machine. "I'm surprised he left then, usually he uses his inventions on me as soon as he's done, even if he doesn't have a way to undo them."
"Maybe he's trying something different," you suggested, you felt a little bit of shame for treating Erika like your personal lab rat but you couldn't help it.
"I'm glad he did, from what I can gather, this is a body switching machine. I'm glad I found out before he could use it on me, I couldn't imagine Luke in my body, or me in his," she then turned to you with her eyes lit up. "Hey why don't we swap? Don't you think it'd be fun being each other for the day?" Erika asked.
You knew it was coming, Erika used to be as inquisitive as Kyle when it came to your inventions, you just preferred using them on her so much you didn't give her a choice.
You bit your lip, wondering what Karen would do. She said yes to you, so she probably would've said yes to Erika but at the same time you'd be going into Erika's body, which is something Erika wouldn't want.
