Having showered and gotten dressed, Cameron decided to get some breakfast as he was starting to feel hungry. Heading downstairs, Cameron poured himself a bowl of cereal. After eating and cleaning up after himself, he was about to head back up to his room when his mother walked into kitchen.
"Morning Cam," she greeted him.
"Morning Mom," he replied. "What's up?"
"Just taking care of some things before we leave," his mother told him. "I'm thinking we'll leave in like an hour. Are you all ready?"
Cameron thought for a moment, but he didn't know what his mom was referring to. "Where are we going?" he asked.
"I did tell you, didn't I?" Helen asked her son.
"Tell me what?" Cam asked.
"I guess I didn't," she laughed. She then explained that she had made some last minute plans yesterday to go visit some family.
