*DISCLAIMER* I am not the best when it comes to Mario folklore, so please forgive any mistakes I make along the way.
It was a sunny afternoon in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario was taking a nice walk around the shops, simply admiring the goods of the many stores when suddenly a slight rumble emitted from his midsection. He stopped for a moment and looked down at his slightly round stomach.
"But I've already had lunch," he complained in his usual heavy Italian accent.
Recently, Mario's appetite has suddenly increased since a few days ago, gradually rising and becoming more and more noticeable to mostly himself. Others, however, have taken the situation with the utmost placidity.
His stomach continued to rumble and Mario eventually gave in. He looked the marketplace and found a sandwich shop that advertised itself as "the most filling and nutritious dishes around!!" He found another shop that mostly sold donuts in a variety of flavors.
