Chapter #5

She did.

Considering that the room was completely silent, as weak as Sheldon't voice was, Leslie didn't have trouble hearing it all the way down from the floor. She looked down, immediately spotting the diminutive man standing right next to her sneaker. Curiously, she leaned a little closer, to get a better look.

"Sheldon?", she asked, finally recognizing him.

"Yes, it's Sheldon. Now move out of my spot.", he said, as if everything else was normal.

"Your spot?", asked Leslie, grinning. "Of course. Well, this is my spot now, considering that you're in no position to properly use it."

"Whether I'm capable or not of giving that spot a suitable use is irrelevant.", he said, angrily. "It's still my spot, and you can't sit there."

"Well, I'm already here, so...what are you gonna do about it?", she asked him, taunting him. "Push me away from it?"

After a few seconds of thinking about a way to answer her, he suddenly placed both hands against the side of Leslie's shoe and started pushing against it. Of course, at his size, he couldn't even move the seemingly 60' long sneaker. The sitting girl watched her amused for a little while before reaching down for him and easily picking him up, dropping him a little roughly on the palm of her hand.

"What are you doing?!", he shouted, furiously. "Put me down right now...and leave my spot!"

"You really are dumb, aren't you?", she asked him in a mocking tone. "Probably even dumber than the blondie next door."

Sheldon gasped. "How dare you?

"Well, first of all, your miniaturiser seems to have backfired, Sheldon Szalinski. And second, you actually tried to push me from your spot?", she asked, chuckling. "I'm sorry, Sheldon, but not even blondie is that stupid."

"At least I actually managed to develop a functional matter-miniaturiser.", he said, crossing his arms.

"And look how that ended up.", said Leslie, smiling down at the tiny Sheldon on her open palm. "Now I'm not only far superior than you intelectually speaking, but also physically."

"Even in the case that you were intellectually superior, which you clearly aren't, I don't see the relevance in comparing physical strength.", Sheldon replied, proudly. "Maybe in the middle ages it would have had some relevance, but not in this century."

"So you really think physical strength is irrelevant right now?", asked Leslie, grinning.

Meanwhile, the three other tinies stared up at them, listening to the conversation.

"Should we stop them?", asked Raj.

"I don't know...this might be amusing.", answered Howard.
