After the inn managed to finish their chores, the landlady soon return to check out the place. Everyone felt nervous as they watched the beautiful mistress analyze every nook and cranny of her abode. The air was silent and could easily be cut with just the right amount of strength.
"Mm-hm, mm-hm, okay, everything seems to be in order," Miya spoke up. "Good job everyone."
They all released a breath of relief, for they just dodged the deadliest bullet.
"Minato, will you help me with the groceries?"
The ashikabi straightened up at the request.
"Of course," he replied and took the bags from the landlady. He followed her into the kitchen while the rest silently wished him luck. Tsukiumi on the other hand, quietly proceeded upstairs and began preparing for her date with her husband. Her heart fluttered with excitement, as this would be their first official date. Tsukiumi couldn't stop smiling as she dressed herself. She put on a white lacy dress with an edgy blue jacket over it. While it was a simple attire, it did a magnificent job in showing off her curves and nice long, silky legs. She knew Minato would love her outfit, and just thinking about the date made her blush red.
"Going out with Minato?" Someone asked from behind her. Tsukiumi gasped and turned around, only to spot a giggling Uzume. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. So what's up?"
Tsukiumi handed the veil manipulator a brush and had her brush the blonde's hair.
"Thee is correct; I am going out tonight with my husband. He asked me while we were cleaning the bathhouse," Tsukiumi responded.
"Really? He asked you out? I didn't think he had the nerves to do it," Uzume giggled. "I'm proud of him."
"As am I; we had a deep conversation and he ended up asking me out," the water sekirei said. Uzume continued brushing Tsukiumi's hair, smiling at how proud she was of her boyfriend. Sure he was very sweet and kind, but sometimes, it irked her at how spineless he could be; but she found that side of him cute.
"So what do you plan on doing?"
Tsukiumi had to think about the question.
"I'm not sure. Minato never told me; he just requested my time, but I guess he assumed I would say no and didn't think ahead."
"Yeah that sounds like him," Uzume agreed. After she finished brushing Tsukiumi's hair, Uzume talked a little more about how far their lover has come. Tsukiumi agreed with her and found it incredible at how stronger Minato has become. Uzume helped Tsukiumi finish getting ready while still continuing their conversation.
In the kitchen, Minato put away the groceries as Miya instructed.
"Thank you Minato; I appreciate the assistance," she said. Minato chuckled sheepishly at her gratitude.
"No problem; I'm just glad to help. Is all this for dinner tonight?"
"Yes it is; I wanted to let them refrigerate first before preparing," she answered.
"I see. Well, I have to warn you not to make any for Tsukiumi and me," Minato warned. Miya cocked her head in confusion.
"Really? Why not? Do you two have something planned tonight?"
Minato blushed upon the questioning.
"Um, yeah, you can say that. We're going out tonight so we'll eat at a restaurant, though it won't be anything compared to your cooking."
Miya giggled at the compliment and covered her lips with her fingers.
"Now Minatol if you keep sweet talking to me like that, everyone will know our secret."
"Sorry, but it's true. Your cooking is just fantastic," Minato complimented. Miya giggled again.
"Tell you what; I'll save you and Tsukiumi some so when you come back, it'll be ready for you."
"Thanks Miya; you're the best," Minato said.
"Now I don't know about that," she responded. "But you better get ready. It's rude to keep a lady waiting you know."
"Oh, right; thanks for reminding me. That would've been disastrous otherwise," the lone ashikabi said.
"Ah, before you go," Miya said and tapped her cheek. Minato blushed again and made sure no one was around before kissing Miya on the cheek. She giggled and set her secret lover away.
Minato washed himself a little before putting on some more casual clothes, just a white t-shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans. He knocked on the door to Tsukiumi and Musubi's room and was greeted by Uzume instead.
"Uzume? What are you doing in there?" Minato asked.
"I'm helping Tsukiumi get ready for your date," she responded. Uzume let out a cute giggle. "But I never thought you would muster up the courage to ask one us out. Good job; I'm proud."
Minato scratched his cheek with his finger. "Thanks; I surprised myself actually."
"I bet," Uzume smiled and pressed her hands on Minato's chest. "But maybe next time, you and I can go out, hmm?"
Her breasts pushed against Minato's chest, making him blush fiercely as he felt a nosebleed coming. He managed to calm down long enough to prevent the bleeding.
"Sure; I don't mind taking you out, as long as you'll have me."
"Of course," she whispered and kissed Minato on the lips. "Have fun on your date now; and don't worry about the others. I got your back."
"Thanks," Minato replied. Uzume gave him a quick hug and headed downstairs. Minato met up with Tsukiumi and found himself mesmerized by her appearance. Tsukiumi blushed from the embarrassment and smiled at the sweet compliment she was given. The couple headed out with no trouble at all, which Minato silently thanked Uzume and Miya for.
The couple began their date, starting with a nice relaxing stroll around the park. Tsukiumi linked her arm with Minato's and rested her head on his shoulder. They enjoyed the other's company, even if they received stares from so many people. Minato was the most worried about it, as the gazes were primarily pointed towards his date. Tsukiumi was definitely a magnet for other men; she was just so beautiful and developed that guys would flock to her in the blink of an eye. It also didn't help that Tsukiumi was the biggest woman in the proximity when it came to breasts; the woman that saw her stared in jealousy while others scolded their guys for staring at another woman. Tsukiumi ignored the stares but could feel the worrying from her husband.
"Tis alright husband; thee is the only man I have eyes for. You are the only man I wish to be with, so please don't feel any inferiority to other males," she told him.
"Sorry, but I can honestly agree that you are the most beautiful woman out here," Minato complimented again. Tsukiumi turned red at his words.
"I thank thee. It makes my heart race to hear thee compliment me."
Minato found her blushing face so unbearably cute; he always saw this side of her whenever she was embarrassed. When the moment was just right and no one was around, Minato titled Tsukiumi's head towards him and kissed her full on the lips. Tsukiumi immediately started kissing him back as they intertwined their fingers. A pair of beautiful blue wings flashed from Tsukiumi's back and shined exquisitely around her and her husband, who broke the kiss to pull her along.
Their date continued with both sides have a great time. Minato took her to the movie theater and they watched one of the newer films that just came out. After that, Minato took Tsukiumi out to dinner; and even though Minato tried to pay for the meal, Tsukiumi had him beat since she can use her M.B.I card. They continued to have a great time on their date, holding each other's hands, and occasionally stealing kisses from each other. However, there was one more stop they had to make before ending their date. Both knew of the other's thoughts and felt the same way, but they were also prepared for it and didn't second guess themselves. The only thing neither could tell is who was the most nervous. Minato thought it was Tsukiumi and vice versa, but it didn't matter, as they've been dreaming of this moment for a long while.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
