In the past, Dinner meant Lunch

As the ending credits to 'Lover's Game' rolled, Houki was impressed to say the least. It was more of a reverse Harem comedy about a girl named Ayase going to school and catching the eye of four guys.

"So...why watch this show Ichika? This seems more of a girl show."

"Well...I gues you can say that I can relate to the main character, Ayase, somehow. But I can't place my finger on what it is..." Houki tried hard to laugh. "Though I do hope she ends up with Yukio or Junichi."

"The youngest of group and the childhood friend?"

"Yep. I got more DVDs lying about. Interested?" Houki began to think. If she accepted, she would miss out on kendo training she planned for today.

"Well I do have kendo to get today around noon. I can't slack off can I." The teen shrugged as Houki got up and walked for the door.

"Ah okay then. Guess I'll go bake my french vanilla brownies today. Do you think that because Charlotte is french she would love french vanilla products?"

Suddenly Houki about faced as fast a bullet. First Cecillia, now Charlotte he planned on sharing his food!

And if the pancakes were as good as the brownies...

"Well it's okay if I skip a day, besides I'm already here and I'd be happy to try out your brownies!" Ichika beamed.

"Great! We can watch 'Supernatural High' and 'The Satan Straights'! I'll start prepping the brownies, you can get the DVDs over on the shelf." Houki obliged and walked over to the shelf, getting the DVDs.

"Hey Ichika, can we have something else with the brownies?" She said as Ichika inspected inside his pantry.

"Like what?" She heard him reply back.

"Like lunch or something. You can do other stuff besides baking right?"

"Yep! Got anything in mind for lunch?" Houki began to think...

"Surprise me!"

"Okay you start watching!" She heard him scuffle around a bit more, exit the pantry and enter back in.

"What about you?"

"I've already watched those two last night. You can catch up while I cook up lunch." Houki inserted the DVD of 'Supernatural High' and walked into the kitchen.

"Mind if I borrow these chips?" She asked, holding a potato chip bag.

"Be my guest." Houki nodded at Ichika's reply and sat back down and started the show.

'I may get behind on kendo...but if it means spending more time with Ichika, then I'll gladly sacrifice a day or two,' thought the 'warrior' girl as she opened up the bag and started snacking as the opening credits rolled.
