get side track by a specific structure

You see your getting closer to the city center,but a specific courtyard catches your eye. You step closer to the yard seeing it littered with destroyed vehicles and few scattered weapons, but no bodies. The look of the structure itself was in bad shape. giant holes in the walls from explosions plasma scaring and fire damage painted the walls a near deep black. You find a door, but is so damaged probably couldn't be opened as you walk closer to investigate the jet black door to see you can slide one side open with some force. Should you investigate this building alone or get to the others and report it?
