David was as still as a statue as the great orb of the bear giantess was solely focused upon him. In just moments, the other great eyelid began to raise as both great eyes were staring directly at him. From his vantage point, it was clear that the bear was surprised judging solely by how high the upper eyelids were rising. "w-w-what?" The giantess stammers as she remains as still as possible on the bed. Deep in David's chest, it felt as if his heart was on the verge of leaping out any second by how rapidly it was beating. To his utter horror and disbelief, he was at the mercy of tis ginormous bear girl.
As David was expecting an ear shattering scream, let alone a quick startled leap in response, to his confusion and surprise, the bear girl remained as still as possible as her eyes were still glued to his location. After a brief milliseconds of nothing but quiet staring, the silence was soon broken as the giantess spoke. "w-what are you?" she stammers in a state of confusion and slight nervousness by her tone.
"errr...I'm...a human?" David stammers in response to the giantess's question only to receive a startled gasp from her. "You talked!" she shouts in pure disbelief. Due to her quick and sudden movements, David found his form suddenly on the verge of falling, but before his body could make contact with the blanket fabric below, an odd surface quickly breaks the fall. As he gazes down upon the odd object that saved him, to his shock he discovered that it was the padded palm of the massive bear girl. In just moments, she raises her hand upwards before her face to get a closer examination of the strange creature before her. The only question that stuck in David's mind as he was now upon the massive palm was whether or not she was friendly or not towards tiny creatures like him.
