The Bear cub was a bit taller than the two. If they were at the same scale as the human he would guess he was 3 foot 6 which probably equaled out to 360 feet. David didn't dare walk past him. As small as he was to the two he was out in the open. David felt exposed. If either one of them glanced in the direction of the wall, he was certain they'd spot him easily. He didn't know what such creatures would do to him so he didn't dare go past the back of the Bear Cub.
A mountain of coarse brown fur towered upward despite being in a kneeling position. He looked almost like an Ewok that someone enlarged to battle a Gorax. His attention soon drew to the broad gray pads of the Bear Cub's feet. He couldn't help himself and he felt it was better to acknowledge they existed rather than trying to ignore them. A full un-calloused pad with oval shaped toe pads. At the end of each pad, a thick dull claw. Without a doubt, they looked amazing and yet quite deadly.
He was going to back away and look for a place to hide out when something caught his attention, other than the huge paws in front of him. More specifically it was something on the part the broad pad that made up the ball of the foot. It looked out of place in a room that resembled something from the pioneer days. Just as out of place as himself. He couldn't tell what it was but if he wanted to find out what it was he was going to have to get closer.
