It was the first day of school, and Hermione was beat. She felt like she had been running from class to class all day. She never imagined that the school could be so big. It looks much smaller in the brochure, she thought. by the time she made it back to Gryffindor tower, her feet were killing her. She kicked off her shoes and dropped down into one of the chairs in front of the fire. She scanned the area for something to prop her feet on, but didn't see anything.
A few moments later Harry ambled through the door, dropped his books, and walked over to join her.
"How are you, Hermione?"
"I'd be a lot better if I could prop my feet up."
"Don't they have any stools around here?" he asked looking around the room.
"No. I've already looked. You would think that they would, wouldn't you?"
She pulled one of her feet up into her lap and tried to rub some of the soreness out of it.
"Let me help you with that," said Harry.
"Thanks."
When harry knelt at her feet, she took her wand from her pocked and whispered "stulio". Harry looked up at her in surprise before he begun to change.
