While Menace sat by and thought on where she should head into next (all the while ignoring Setra's persistant pokings at how she was getting chubby), the direct concentration of her mind was broken by the sound of footsteps approaching. Not expecting any visitors, or rather not even wanting any, Menace threw her gaze upward to see a few of her mooks had managed to catch something...a young woman to be exact. "Oh, and what's this?" Setra mused aloud, raising an eyebrow to the newcomer, assuming from the get go that she was of a hostile party. The woman herself was fairly short and husky, having a figure that was noticeable chubby with a large belly and an even larger bosom. She wore an attire that was similar to that of that Tomoe girl Menace had seen once or twice. However, this woman's miko based attire had a far different color scheme being black and dark green as opposed to red and white like the usual miko uniform was. Her hair black and styled similarly to Menace's, only being much longer in that it reached to around her back. Vulpine ears sat perched atop her head, said ears being of the same color as her hair and at her behind were 7 large and bushy fox tails of the same shade of black. It was, in fact, stranger on what this woman truly was than why she was here...but Menace found it was only natural to see what business she had here, regardless of her outward appearance. "I hope you have a good reason for coming in here unannounced...I'm not exactly in the mood for visitors especially unwanted ones."
"A-ah, sorry but, when I heard you were nearby, I thought now was my only chance to present myself to you." The fox woman said, showing her chubby face and a red bandage like sutra talisman wrapped around the left side of her face. "Y-you see, I came here...looking to join you." Well, this was unexpected...Menace rarely got anyone who wanted to join her out of their own free will before. Naturally, it was something that took her by surprise, but it wasn't enough to blind her of her suspicions surrounding this stranger.
"And what leads you to believe I should allow you to join me in my cause?" Menace asked, setting forth to pry as much information out of this fox woman as she could before seeing if she was of use to her. At the moment, she looked far too much like a liability than anything else and that was something Menace didn't need right now...or ever, really. "State your name and what you think would be of use to me and maybe I'll consider letting you tag along."
"Oooh, so mean, my princess. I love how "
"I am Nagayama Kisume, Dark Priestess and the heir to the Nagayama clan. I've heard of the Queen's Blade tournament from my family and other villagers but, I don't think I have alot of combat experience to really play a part in it...however, when I heard of you and your battle against the other tournament participants, I believed that maybe...we could work together toward the prize?" Kisume proposed, Menace remaining silent as she took in the fox's story and ran it through her mind to see if everything actually checked out. So far, the only thing bugging her about this woman was of how she believed whatever she had to offer could help and why it actually applied to Menace of all people.
"Okay, that's all well and good, but what do that doesn't tell me on what you have to offer me." Menace said with a yawn, lazily letting her plump cheek rest in the palm of her hand as she glued her gaze on Kisume and continued onward, "And if you do, why you only came to seek out myself."
"Ah, yes of course...uhm..." Kisume began, "I believe with your power and my knowledge, we can both revive a key benefactor that can help you achieve your goal. Somewhere within these forests is a tomb that has entrapped a powerful beast you can use to topple your opposition and fulfill your goals as you see fit." Hmm, so this is what she had in terms of . Menace wasn't aware of any powerful monsters in this forest, but then again, she didn't know these woods very well to have any idea of what lurked within it's shadows. "It was sealed away long ago, having threatened a large portion of the country with it's immense power. Some have gone to call it a God among Beasts...such is the creature known as Erebos." Ahh, so that's what this monster was...
"And you believe that if we release it, it can help me attain the goal I seek?" Menace asked, the fox girl nodding eagerly in response as she assumed that the princess was leaning towards letting her join forces with her. In truth, Menace wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to believe this or not. Kisume was still a weird case and those usually end up being the ones to stab you in the back later on if you're not careful. This happened to Menace once...it won't happen again. However, this also proved to be a chance for her to finally restore her kingdom to it's former glory what with their being a potential easy switch just laying down around the corner...
