Emily walked down stairs, ready to take a walk and burn off some fat. But then she heard "Emily, I noticed you're plumper from that meal I just fed you, but would you like some cake?"
Emily looked over at the dining room table. She saw a huge cake with frosting and ice cream. "Ok, just one piece."
She cut a piece of the tall cake covered with icecream and dug in. One slice turned to four and four turned into half the cake. With an expanded pot belly and cake on her face, Emily said "Mom, I'm sorry. It was just so good." "That's quite alright dear, I have another in the fridge."
"But maybe we should get you something more fitting. It looks like I've fattened you up a little too much! Don't worry though, I'm sure you'll work it off."
Emily blushed and looked down at her belly. The shirt didn't cover her belly button and the sweats were stretched to the limit. "Come with me to the mall and we can get you some new clothes. You're clearly not a small anymore like before the injury, so we'll get you some one-size fit's all sweats and a large T-shirt. I'll let you put on some of my clothes for the trip."
Emily went to her mother's room as her mother was starting up the car and getting her purse. Emily put on some of her mothers clothes. She put on a pair of sandles, streetchy black leggings for her widened hips, and a silky lavender dress shirt. The shirt was a little tight from her six month pregnant looking big pot belly, but everything else was fine. She put on some sunglasses to try to hide her face from any of her friends that may be at the mall. The mall was a popular meeting place for the girls at her high school, and she didn't want to be seen with a huge belly like that. It was the summer, and if she was seen she would become the laughing stock at her school.
