"Of all days, Aleena," Maylene says, "you had to ruin today?"
"What do you mean?" Aleena says, a bear anthro. "You were always alone. I think this cutie will come to realize what a loser you are and come towards me instead."
"Just stop it, Aleena," Maylene retorts, nearly going into tears. "Every time I find a friend or a boy, you always take them away. What is your deal with me!?"
"You're just a lowlife, Maylene. You had no friends, you don't go boy crazy like us, and you never even went out before." You now see Maylene going into angry tears. "Please, your chances with him are slim to none. Come on, (your name), why don't you hang with me?"
The way you saw how this happened, there was no way you would even think of going to Aleena.
"Like hell," you whisper.
"What?"
"You ought to consider looking for another guy, if you're lucky enough to even find one. Go to Earth and see what your options are; I can't even stand to look at you seeing how you offended Maylene like that."
Her exxpression was more shocked than angered, but she backed up and went back to her group.
"Y-You... stood up for me..." the mouse says. "I-I mean, wha-- w-why?"
You smile. "Maylene, no one should be treated like that. Either way, I can relate to you as well. Same thing with me, but mostly with other groups." You wipe her tears and she hugs you afterward.
"Thanks for defending me, (your name). I'm really grateful for that."
"It's okay, Maylene. You won't be harrassed in front of me again."
She feels that she should ask you out, but hesitates to do so. Now that she lets go of you, what happens?
