You look back to the enchanting feline across the hall, and just stand there, mezmerized. Your brain was screaming at you to go up and talk to her, but your body wouldn't respond. You just stand there, locked in battle with yourself. Dozen of question run through your head at light speed. What do I say to her? Should I ask her out? What if she says no?Apparently, you were standing there for longer than you thought, because Ramona gets impatient and grabs your wrist, leading you down another hall.
"Hey!"
"If you stood there any longer, you would have made us late. The bell's going to ring in thrity seconds."
To your dismay, your first class was Chemistry. On Earth, you never really liked science classes in general, but chemistry was the worst for you. You outright flunked it, and had to go to summer school. Of course, you were the only boy in the class, so as soon as you walk in the door, the whole room turns stares at youlongingly, except the teacher, Ms. T, a tigress. "Ah yes, we have a new student from Earth with us, Mr. (your name). Please take a seat anywhere." You knew immedietley to sit next to Ramona, incase any of the females surrounding you tried to pull something. As Ms. T began her lecture for the day, you instantly knew this would be hell for you, due to the fact that on Bestia, they have a different periodic table than on earth, so you had no idea what the teacher was talking about.
"Now, who can tell me what I would get if I boil Zioxitride, Diamondium, and Titanousum together?"
Ms. T might as well have been speaking greek, because you had never heard of any of this. Then came the part where you had to pick a lab partner. Almost all at once, the other girls tried to get to you, but Ramona quickly claimed you before they could. That was partly why you liked Ramona, she was always reliable.
The assignment for today was to mix certain chemicals togther to make some sort of solvent. Unfortunatley, you end up mixing the wrong chemicals, causing the mixture you created produce copious amounts of smoke, setting off the fire alarm throughout the entire school. Needless to say, everyone was standing outside, as the ensuing mess was being sorted out. At the end of the day, Ms. T called you into her room.
"Ms. T, I'm sorry about the..."
"It's alright (your name), You didn't mean to cause it. It could have been much worse, at least it wasn't poison gas. Anwya, I think Chemistry may not be your strongsuit, so I've assigned you a private tutor for the subject."
She hands you a small note with an address. "You are to report to this address Monday through Friday at svsen sharp. Understand?" You nod and look at address to see where you'll be going tonight for help in chemistry.
