You yelped and she woke up instantly, head shooting up and making you realize she had..cat ears?? They matched her hair and twitched around as she stared at you, worried.
“Is everything alright, master?”
You stared at her in a panic and motioned to her body and her ears with no words coming out. She tilted her head, which you had to admit was cute, and made a ‘hm?’ sound.
“Who are you?!”
“Wha? Master don’t be so silly, I’m your kitty!”
“You are not a cat! You’re a-a.. I don’t even know what you are!”
“I’m yours master. You brought me home from the shelter just today. Don’t you remember?”
Now that you thought about it, she did look like your cat. The pink fur, the brown eyes.
“But then why do you look like that? Why are you a human?”
The neko shrugged and leaned forward. “I dunno. Don’t you like it, master?”
You blushed and she giggled, sitting back up and looking at you accusingly.
“Hey! You haven’t even named me yet! Give me a name, master!”
