Chapter #10Swapped Lives, Hair and Clothes by: Mr. Scratch   “Well, we already are each other. Why not have the hair? That way we can get to know us better. It would be unfair if the boys had it easy without the trouble of hair blowing constantly in your face, right?”, suggested Josie.
“I agree.”, said Anna shortly and tried to get used to wearing Melody’s clothes. At least she was still wearing girl’s clothes although she was pretty sure that her mother thought that they were male clothes.
“Good.”, smiled Cindy broadly and took the cards.
Afterwards everybody had the hair style that belonged to their life. Michael now had Josie’s long, red hair. Josie had Michael’s short, blond hair. Melody had Anna’s long, blond hair while Anna had Melody’s long, brown hair which was in a pigtail. Last but not least, Cindy had Philipp’s short, black hair and Philipp had Cindy’s shoulder-length, blond hair.
“Okay then.”, smiled Cindy and ran a hand through her new hair. “I think that’s it. Did we forget something?”, she asked. Nobody answered, they were all to engrossed in feeling up their new hair.
“Goody.”, cheered Cindy girlishly. “I guess we’re ready then. Let’s put the cards away.”. Michael nodded to his mother and took the cards and put them in the box.
“What now?”, asked Anna. “Are we finished?”.
Michael shrugged his shoulders. “I guess so. We could of course watch a movie if you guys want to.”. Josie smiled and slid over to Michael. “I’d love to.”, she said and hugged him. “After all it’s my birthday now, right? I don’t want to let it end just yet.”.
Anna got up from her chair. “Well, I leave.”, she said. “Have to calm down and don’t need you around.”. With these words she left.
“I think I’ll get more familiar with the house. I have to live here and keep it clean for the following two days.”, said Philipp and got up and went upstairs to the parents’ bedroom. “Okay then. I think I’ll try on my clothes.”, he thought grinning pevertly when he arrived in the room.
Meanwhile, Michael, Josie, Melody and Cindy relocated the party to the living room and put the latest action movie into the DVD player.
“It’s been a while since I have been hanging out with my friends like this.”, said Cindy when she grabbed a bowl of popcorn.
“Well, you’re my mom.”, said Michael. “I’d be afraid if you did this regularly.”. Everyone laughed.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
