Twilight's knees grew weak and she nearly fainted again, but she somehow managed to remain standing.
"I'm Princess Celestia?! I mean I'm in Princess Celestia's body. But how is this possible?
"Princess?!" The guard asked her "Are you ill? I can fetch the royal physician at once-"
"No! Uh I mean that won't be necessary..."
"But Princess-" The guard looked towards the window.
It was still as dark as midnight outside. The moon had fallen, but the sun was yet to rise and everypony was waiting for her to start the day but she had no idea how! She considered getting Luna, after all if Celestia could raise the moon then surely Luna could raise the sun? But what if it was her fault she stuck in Celestia body? WHat if all this was because of her?! What would Luna do to her?! Even if she didn't know how to raise the sun maybe the magic to do so was in Celestia's body. It was possible... she did technically have Celestia's cutie mark.
Twilight looked at the horizon and concentrated, trying to imagine the sun soaring into the air. She concentrated and to her surprise the sun quickly and easily rose! Wow Celestia must be extremely powerful! Twilight could never imagine lifting something so large with so little effort
The guards looked relieved though still seemed puzzled at her bizarre behaviour.
"Your majesty, forgive me for asking but do you need more rest?"
"Y-yes that would be a good idea! Thank you everypony your princess is fine!"
The guards still seemed puzzled and concerned. It must have been strange hearing Celestia's voice cracking the way Twilight did under stress.
"Are you sure there's nothing you need?"
"I'm sure! Everypony please go!" Twilight pushed the nerest with Celestias wing, breifly surpised she could actually push a pony using only her wings, espeically one as tall and well built as a guard.
"If you're sure..."
"Yes I'll call if I need anything!"
The guards reluctantly left.
Now she was finally alone with her thoughts.
How did she get here? Was this her fault or someone elses? She didn't remember casting a spell like this, but she had had magical accidents before. Would Luna understand? Twilight shuddered. She'd rather not risk it if she didn't have to. Maybe she could check the royal library, there had to be a book about this, hopefully with a spell that could fix things.
If she was here, where was Celestia? Presumably Celestia was in Twilight's body, but Twilight couldn't be sure of that. A part of her wanted to ask Celestia for help but how would she take it? Well she probably wouldn't banish Twilight... wait. Celestia used her own magic to send those letters, and it was a spell Twilight didn't know! And unlike raising the sun this wasn't magic that would be stored in her body!
What would she do if somepony needed Celestia? Would she have to fill in for her? Could she dream of doing such a thing? Would it be considered treasonous her to try? And yet what if some pony needed Celestia really badly? She couldn't let the kingdom fall into chaos! How was she going to manage this?
