This choice: An anthro, you can be half human - half cat • Go Back... "Well, if you've always wanted to try your hand at being part animal, we currently have in stock 'Neko-Nekots,' a peanut butter cracker with a hint of fish and magical mutagenic property." Kat tells you. You blink in disbelief. "How else would I have these..." Her ears flick of their own accord, "...or this?" She lifts part of her ankle-length skirt and reveals she also has a matching tail hidden underneath. Your face belies your skepticism. She addresses this by telling you, "Go ahead and touch it if you don't believe me." Her tail curls up to your hands, and after some speculation, decide to take her up on her offer. As you rub the tip, she coos giddily, the sensation seemingly enjoyable. Her reaction, and the warmth and movement of the appendage convinces you it's real.
"How did you do this?" you ask.
Kat laughs, and responds to you, "Like I said, Neko-Nekots. Our store is supposed to carry other animal varieties, but we just opened, and this was all they had in the first shipment, but if cats aren't your thing, you can come back tomorrow. That's when our full stock comes in."
"Well... I think I might try them."
Kat smiles and says, "Excellent!! Trust me, you'll enjoy it." She goes down an aisle an finds a bag of Neko-Nekots and brings them to you. "All the disclaimers and instructions you need to know are written on the bag or on a piece of paper in the bag, but let me give you the primer..." She takes in a breath, and prepares to divulge the secrets of Neko-Nekots. "In a bag, you'll find paw and fish shaped crackers." Kat whips out a paw cracker. "Paw crackers can allow you to affect the degree of feline transformation. One will only give you a tail, two the ears, so on and so forth. However, be careful not to eat too many at once, and if you do, make sure you quickly put them somewhere where you can't reach them. Around ten or so, you become a full cat, physically, but at a full dozen, you're a cat mentally as well." She holds up a fish cracker. "Fish crackers affect how long the effects last. Eating no crackers will cause reversion to normal in 24 hours from the time the last cracker was eaten. Each cracker exponentially adds more time. One gives an extra day, two gives three, three six, four ten, five fifteen, and so forth. If you eat a full dozen in one serving, like I did, it can make the effects permanent, if you so wish. Well, I guess that's the basics."
"Neat!! How much?" you ask.
"$7.65"
You pay her for the bag and walk out the store, ready to try out the new snack you bought.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
