"Hey! Give that back!" the small girl in front of you whines, reaching in vain for the backpack just out of reach. You resist the urge to tug at her now loose honey blond hair.
"Nice try princess, but this is mine now" you laugh meanly.
"I can see it'll suit you" the girl says definantly, to your surprise. You frown, since you definately don't won't the 'Disney princess' backpack for yourself; you just want to make the girl squirm.
"Why would I want a cootie ridden thing like this? You girls are freaks, wanting to dress and act like that" you demand. You hear a snicker, as your best friend Karl grabs the girl. "She is right bro. We'll probably need to burn it, and a heavy dose of disinfecting"
"No! Give it back"
Karl shoves the girl -Hannah- into the mud, as you open the backpack. "Gross! Why do you have these things?" you say in disgust, as you pull out her notebook. Its pink and covered with hearts and other girlish squiggles. You toss it into the mud, next to the furious Hannah. You're about to throw the next thing into the mud as well, but on a closer look you see this item is much different. "The reluctant princess" you read. "What? This your diary, girl? Too bad, we're keeping it" you say, as Karl pushes Hannah further into the mud.
Later, you look at the book. For some reason you have felt tired since you 'borrowed' the book.
