"I can't!" I exclaimed. "It's a public bookstore!"
Lisa sighed in frustration. "I promise that at the end of this, you'll get your stuff back and all will be well." That wasn't exactly comforting. "I can also promise you that if you don't cooperate things will be worse for you."
