I turned around and opened the door to my dorm. "Good night, Alicia," I said dismissively over my shoulder.
"Erica?"
"Bye."
"Erica!" I closed the door in her face. "Get back here and take care of business!"
When I got to the living area of our dorm, I saw Julie giving me a weird look. "What's going on?" she asked me, indicating the muffled noises that Alicia was still making, which now included the pounding of her fists.
"She thinks I owe her money," I responded flippantly. "Ignore her. She'll leave eventually."
