Tom goes to a youth center where he uses the wand

Tom rode the bus to the new, large youth center located in the downtown area. Thousands of kids and college students come there to study, take classes, use the free Internet, and to play games and practice their favorite sports.

Tom walks around, with his wand saved in the coat pocket, so he can easily take it out if he sees someone who clearly needs some more muscle.
