"Hey, honey, welcome home," came the voice of a man with a slightly effeminate voice, after Brad stepped into his house. He only had a moment to wonder who this man was and what he was doing in his house, and why he was calling him "honey", before the unknown man kissed him! On the lips!
Brad pushed the guy off of him. "Ugh. Who the hell are you? How did you get in my house?" he asked angrily.
The man, who was wearing a tight shirt and equally tight pants, and had styled hair and an earring in one ear, looked confused towards Brad. "What do you mean, sweetie?" he asked, with a slight lisp. It's me. Greg. Your husband?" Then his confused look turned into a smile. "Oh, you're just playing around, aren't you? We haven't done role playing for a while. So who am I this time? A cute burglar who needs to be taught a lesson for breaking into people's homes?" he asked, flirtatiously.
Brad just stared at this guy. Did this obvious gay man think that he was stupid? That he's buying his bullshit story? Brad was about to call the cops to get this nutball arrested, but then he stopped. There was a very noticeable family resemblance with the guy. He looked a lot like Grace. He could even be Grace's brother, if she had one. Could it be? No, it was impossible. He just saw his wife that morning. There's no way someone could have surgically altered her in that amount of time. But he couldn't stop thinking that maybe this man was Grace. That somehow she had been turned into this man. This gay man.
He hated gays. Especially the ones that acted like women. Like this guy right here. But if this was actually Grace ...
What was he thinking? This man couldn't be Grace. It must have been all a put on. It ...
He stopped again, as his eyes landed on a photo hanging on the wall in the downstairs hallway. He walked over to it, in a daze, and looked at it. Instead of him and his wife, embracing and smiling at the camera, it was him and this Greg guy. In fact, all the photos in the house had Greg in place of Grace. Smiling, hugging, kissing. He even saw some gay pride memorabilia around. Could it be that someone photoshopped all those photos and placed all that gay stuff in his house? The more he saw, however, the more he realized that (as impossible as it seemed) reality had changed somehow, giving him a life where Grace had been born male and gay, and married him. But wouldn't that mean that Brad was gay too? He didn't feel gay. Not in the slightest.
Brad had to figure out what happened to his wife and try to get her back. Because no way was he going to spend the rest of his life with this fag.
