The Pendant of Power is an artifact of an ancient time, buried in the sands of time, and forgotten about by history. Though it caused the rise and fall of several people and even civilizations, it has laid untouched for the past five centuries.

Until now.

David
14 years old, Caucasian-American, Light skin
5'10", 135 lbs., skinny build
Short, spiked brown hair and brown eyes
Has an older brother, Wes, 17, whom he envies
Best friends are Paul, 15, and Sam, 14
Gay.
Finds the Pendant after it was unearthed by a powerful rainstorm.

Mark
18 years old, Caucasian-American, Tanned skin
6'0", 190 lbs, muscular build
Shaggy red hair and green eyes
Has a younger brother, Paul, 15 (David's friend), whom Mark gets along with well
Best friends are Wes, 17 (David's brother) and Josh, 18
Straight
Buys the Pendant at an unusual shop.

Ken
16 years old, Japanese-born (living in US), Olive skin
5'7", 150 lbs., average build
Black crew-cut hair and brown eyes

Best friend is Omair, 17

Finds the Pendant in the trunk in the attic.
