Chapter #3Allison, mom and wife by: Matt Wii It was a Friday afternoon and you had just finished up your shift at work. You worked in an office and lived the classic 9-5 gig. You had three daughters and a loving husband, well mostly loving. You see, you had been married to Joe for years now but as of late it has gone a bit stale. Yes you still loved Joe and would never leave him but you also felt like you two needed something to spice up the marriage. Sex had become the same old same old and neither of you had energy come end of the work day. Leaving the office, you continued to think about what you and Joe once had. You missed being young. You missed Joe being young. There was nothing you could do about it, or so you thought.
You arrived at home and were greeted by your daughters all waiting for you. Ariel, your oldest daughter, greeted you first and said, “Hey mom, glad you’re home. Bridgette and Marie have been a pain in the ass but not my problem. I’m going out, see ya.”
“Hey missy, don’t be out too late tonight. You hear me?” you reply.
“Yeah yeah mom I know. I’ll try,” Ariel says as she takes off out the house. You decide to find your other daughters and find them in the living room watching tv.
“Hey mommy, can we go play at Carly’s house? Ariel got to go play and we want to too,” your middle child, Bridgette, asks. Carly was a girl Bridgette was friends with next door who also had a younger sister who Marie, your youngest daughter, was friends with too.
“Sure thing baby, I’ll call Carly’s mom now,” you reply. You never get the house to yourself anymore so you jump at this chance to get the girls out. You call Carly’s mom who tells you to bring the girls by and she’ll look after them for the rest of the day. You then get the girls ready, gathering their toys and making sure they aren’t a mess. You walk them over to the Jackson’s house next door and their mother greets you with a smile.
“Hey Allison, I’ll take good care of the girls,” Mrs Jackson says. You smile and say goodbye to the girls as you walk back to the house. You enter your house and sit down on the couch. You were wiped out from today and were ready to spend some time alone. Just as you were settling in, the doorbell rang.
“Oh jeez, the girls got in trouble at Mrs Jackson’s already,” you thought. You reach the door and open it to be greeted by a strange man.
“Good evening ma’am, what a nice house you have. It seems you live in a family that might need a little spice in their lives. I come here to tell you your whole family has been blessed with a special gift, the ability to swap bodies. If you wear the outfit of someone within 30 minutes of them wearing it, you will swap bodies with them. Use this power to brighten up your lives and maybe improve it,” the man says with a cheeky smile.
“Who the hell~” you say before the man just walks away. Body swap? Special gift? That man must be crazy. That stuff doesn’t exist. You shake your head and walk back into your house. A short time later, your husband comes home from work and sits next to you on the couch. He holds your hand as you two sit on the couch.
“Honey, I am so glad it’s the weekend. I guess the girls are out tonight. Good to be alone for once,” Joe jokes. You laugh as you continue to think about what the strange man told you.
“Yeah baby, it’s nice to be alone. Say, why don’t we have some fun tonight. Maybe go out to dinner and have some fun in the bedroom after?” you say.
“Sure that works. Let me go get cleaned up,” Joe says as he gets up and heads upstairs. You continue to think about this gift you apparently have.
“Well if Joe is going to get a shower, that would mean he’d have clothes I could try on,” you thought. You hear the water turn on and decide to go upstairs to look for Joe’s clothes. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
