Naruto's life changed forever when he was ten years old. Getting tired of the beatings and looks he received in the village he decides to run away from the village. He packs up all of his belongings and sneaks out of the village in the middle of the night. After the sun sets he starts to look for a place to set up camp when he hears some sounds and decides to follow the sounds. What he sees shocks him he sees a guy standing over a women with her hands tied behind her back and rag in her mouth. "I don't care what the boss says I am going to enjoy my self tonight" the man says. Seeing the scared look in the women's eyes Naruto decides to step in.
"Hey what are you doing," Naruto yells while he pushes the man out of the way. he stands between the man and the women.
"what the hell? what are you doing here brat," the man yells as he gets up and grabs his knife as he points it at Naruto.
All of this commotion wakes up the rest of the group as they get out of there tents and walk to the clearing Naruto is in. They separate to let in a guy wearing a helmet he walks in and says, "what is going on here Simon? who is that kid, and why is she away from the others?"
Upon seeing the boss Simon starts to sweat realizing he could be in trouble. thinking quick he decides to lie, "Well you see boss I saw the girl get free and start to run for it. deciding I could catch her myself rather than waking the rest of you guys up I gave chase. when I caught her I was about to drag her back when this brat pushed me."
"Is that so," the boss said not fully believing Simon. he turns to Naruto and asks "what is your story kid? shouldn't you be with your parents right about now?"
" Hey my name is Naruto Uzumaki not brat or kid remember that," Naruto says not noticing the man eyes widening when he hears the name Uzumaki. " I was walking around when I heard some sounds. I decided to follow the sound when I heard this guy," he points at Simon, " say he didn't care what his boss say he was going to have some fun tonight. When I saw that the girl was afraid I pushed him off of her. he start to yell at me then you guys showed up."
" I see, Simon is what this boy says true that you were going to disobey me again," the man says as he steps into the moonlight while gripping his sword.
"c'mon boss you really going to believe this kid over me," Simon says while he takes a step back while looking for a way to escape.
"You forget I can tell when a person is lying to me. This is the third time this has happened since you joined us. While I may be willing to forgive the first to times as you getting ahead of yourself I don't allow anyone to disobey for a third time," the boss says. He then runs forward and cuts off Simon's head.
Naruto looks on in shock since he couldn't see the guy move. he becomes afraid that the guy will do the same thing with him. he gulps when the guy tuns and looks at him. "You said your name last name was Uzumaki? how come you don't have the traditional red hair of the Uzumaki clan," the man asks as he takes off his helmet to reveal blood red hair.
"It was the name I was given I didn't know there was an Uzumaki clan," Naruto answers confused.
"Well there's one way to figure out if you are an Uzumaki," the guy says as he reaches into his pocket and throws Naruto a scroll, "wipe some of you blood on that scroll he orders." looking confused Naruto decides to do as ordered, and when he does the scroll opens. the man looks at this with a smile and says," well guess you really are an Uzumaki," before he can say more he hears a loud growl and realizes it is Naruto's stomach. he laughs at that before he continues why don't you come back to our camp I have a few questions to ask you."
