This choice: The studio's located right by the park in a flat, wide building • Go Back...Chapter #5The studio's located right by the park in a... by: Unknown In only a few minutes, you find yourself awoken from daydreams about gorging yourself on desserts as the golf cart slows in front of a long, wide building that's only a story tall. "Are... are we here?", you ask after a moment.
"Yep! Mr. Pachy had an old manufacturing building re-fitted for the pilot season of TBG," the cat responds to you as she disembarks from the cart, beckoning you to follow her. As the two of you walk through the front door, you find yourself gaping at what you see. What used to be a manufacturing floor, filled with machinery and equipment, has been replaced by not only a large living arrangement in one quarter of its space, but a strange assortment of sets and laboratories. One appears to be a supermarket, albeit half-sized, though apparently operational and stocked with a variety of different products. Also on the floor include a few separate obstacle courses, what appear to be game show sets, and a series of vats near the center of the floor. Whatever's going to take place here will be interesting.
After giving you some time to gawk, you find yourself whisked into the living area, where you're seated in a bedroom. "This will be your living space," Cassie says, as a few workers - a wolf and a gator, both obese - bring in a series of forms and assessments that you need to fill out. One's a series of information and nicknames, for example, meant for improving the narrative process of the show. Others have medical information, clothing preferences, allergies, and legal information. You're even measured in both size and weight.
After this, you find yourself outfitted in a jumpsuit that's both snug and tight. Examining yourself in the mirror, you see that it sags in places in which weight would add itself to a body, such as in the belly, waist, arms and legs. It's red and white, matching your natural fur colors. As soon as you seem comfortable, a camera crew comes in along with an interviewer, who gathers some additional information from you on camera - your name, your favorite foods, basic stuff meant to flesh out your character. Near the end, you're asked for a motto you'd like to apply to what YummTV will be calling "Team Sunday" - not great at thinking on your feet, you clumsily respond "Gotta stay hungry." indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
