"Holy Shit!" Liz exclaimed, stepping off the scale, "13 pounds? In one meal?" she went over, wiped the mirror and looked at herself. "ugh... no noticeable change..." she said dejectedly as she got in the shower and started washing her hair. She definitely felt better, but she wasn't heavy enough yet. After finishing her shower, she went back to her room and got dressed, her clothes didn't feel any different. "Man, I thought putting on that much weight would be more noticeable... maybe mom'll know more." Liz exited her room and went to the kitchen, where she found her mom making breakfast.
"Mom, guess what!" Lizzie exclaimed
"What?" her mother replied
"No, guess!"
"They moon landings were faked?"
"What? No! Guess again!"
"You finally put on some weight?"
"Yes! 13 pounds!"
"Whhwhwaaakka?" her mother fumbled over herself, absolutely flabbergasted.
"Yea! But, you, uh, cant really see it..."
"It may just be padding your organs. It's one of fat's important roles in your body, after all."
"I know, it's just." Lizzie sighed deeply, "I'm tired of being a-"
"Don't say it Lizzie, how about instead you go back to that restaurant again today?" her mother suggested.
"For breakfast?" Liz responded
"And lunch and dinner. Go all out and get some more fat on your bones!"
