Harper smiled as she walked out of the restaurant, breathing in the cool night air as the sounds and smells of the city washed over her. She watched as cars zipped along the busy road outside the restaurant while their engines hummed along in an almost hypnotic drone. She could hear the heavy thumping of bass coming from one of the nearby clubs, and she caught the unmistakable scent of cigarette smoke drifting faintly on the light breeze.
Harper breathed heavily as she stood outside the restaurant, still feeling really full. Tall buildings surrounded her, dwarfing the restaurant as she began walking down the sidewalk. Neon signs flashed through the night, doing their best to catch the eyes of the few people still walking around on the sidewalks.
Harper slipped out her phone and almost gasped at the time. 11:42 PM. It had been just afternoon when she'd entered the restaurant. She couldn't believe how long she'd been asleep. She still wasn't feeling particularly great and couldn't wait to get home and get to bed.
She was walking along the sidewalk of a busy city street, but as she continued, the commotion from the cars and people faded into a quieter area. The buildings around her grew shorter, and the space between them increased. She saw fewer and fewer people on the sidewalks until she finally found herself alone as she wandered past nice suburban houses with well-kept yards and expensive cars.
She smiled up at the full moon as she took in the clear night sky. She could still hear the city off in the distance, but the sounds of nocturnal insects and the wind blowing through the trees kept her moving. After walking for a while, she turned onto one of the side streets, walking beneath a row of trees that towered over even the houses. The street was well lit by street lamps spaced evenly along the side of the road, though her eyes had locked onto one of the houses about halfway down the street. That was her house.
The red-brick house was two stories tall, with a basement, though that wasn't really visible from outside. Her parents well kept the front yard, and a white vinyl fence surrounded the backyard. There was a double-wide garage that she knew housed her parent's vehicles on one side of the house, and a row of flowers lined the path that led to the front door.
Harper walked up the steps to her front door and opened it. A blast of air that felt both cool and refreshing greeted her. A light had been left on for her, which she appreciated as she stepped inside the house, closing the door behind her before locking it. The house was quiet in contrast to outside, where there was always some sound or movement.
Harper walked through the small living room into the kitchen and strode towards the snack cupboard. She opened it and looked at all of her options before pulling out a package of cupcakes and closed the cupboard again as she walked back into the living room and upstairs towards her bedroom. There were several doors along the hallway, all of them closed except for her's.
She slowly crept down the hallway as the sound of her father snoring echoed out of one of the doors on the left, and she avoided opening it so as not to disturb him. She reached her bedroom, entering the room as the light from the streetlamp outside illuminated it. It was a large bedroom, with several windows letting in the light from outside. The queen-sized bed dominated it, with several posters of rock bands decorated the wall above it, and a canopy was pulled over it, preventing any unwanted light from shining in on the bed.
Harper closed the door behind her as she slipped inside and flicked on the overhead light as she looked around the room. On either side of the bed was a pair of matching nightstands with a lamp on each of them. The one closest to the door also had a digital alarm clock that read 12:06 AM. Right next to the door was a large writing desk that she used for school work and was where her laptop was currently resting. On the other side of the door was a large dresser with clothes peeking out of a few of the half-closed drawers. On the other side of the dresser was a large antique-looking stand mirror that she had gotten from her grandma when she passed away. Opposite the bed was an entertainment center with a massive TV and several game consoles. Games lay strewn on top of the entertainment center, and a few even littered the floor.
Harper set the cupcakes down on the desk as she stripped off her clothes, tossing them onto a pile near her closet. She stepped in front of the mirror and looked over her body.
She had blond hair that came to about the middle of her back and bright green eyes. Her face was pretty and had a light tan from all the time she spent walking around the city. The rest of her was fairly average. Her breasts were neither large nor small. Her belly was fairly average, though it looked pretty bloated after her recent binge. She definitely wasn't athletic, but she wasn't really out of shape, either. None of this really mattered to her, though.
Harper smirked as she looked at her reflection, liking the look she presented. She turned and picked up the cupcakes, ripping open the package as she shoved one of them into her mouth and closed her eyes as the sweet sugary flavor filled her mouth. She chewed quickly before swallowing it. Harper opened her eyes and shoved the other cupcake in her mouth. She quickly stepped over to the bed and slipped under the covers, turning off the nightstand lamp as she rested her head against her pillow and closed her eyes, ready to finally get some sleep.
Feelings of contentment washed over her as she savored the feeling of being absolutely stuffed. It was a feeling she had never really experienced before, but she had to admit, she liked it. She could feel her stomach stretching to accommodate her meal, but it didn't bother her. It felt nice to be so full, so she drifted off to sleep with a smile on her face.
Harper's stomach let out a massive growl, and she jolted awake. She winced at how hungry she was feeling and glanced at the clock. 3:56 AM. It hadn't even been that long since she'd eaten all that food at the restaurant. How could she be this hungry again already? Harper rolled onto her back as her stomach turned with a rumble, and she moaned pitifully.
"Oww..." Harper groaned, rubbing her stomach as she felt it rumble again. This couldn't be happening. This was beyond annoying.
