From what Kim saw before her very eyes, she was looking at the temple that was carved into what appeared to be a gigantic statue which looked like a young and very attractive woman with the lower body of a spider.
Not exactly sure what she was dealing with at the time, Kim called fellow technician and mission handler Wade on her Kimmunicator, as the handheld device's monitor lit up and showed Wade in his usual spot, as he looked at Kim and said, "Hey, Kim! Have you made it to the temple yet?"
"~sigh~ Here's the thing, Wade. Good news: I made it to the temple's location. The bad news: You might want to see this for yourself." Kim replied, as she then showed Wade what she was facing, by having the Kimmunicator face against the gigantic statue. From there, Wade's reaction could only be summed up as shock and awe, as he spoke out and yelled, "Oh my God, that's a Dridder!"
Confused as to what he was saying, Kim then pulled the Kimmunicator back in to face her, then she looked at Wade with a cocked eyebrow and asked, "A...Dridder?" "Exactly, Kim. Dridders are basically a mythical race. Their bodies are built like a Centaur's from Greek mythology. Only instead of the lower body of a horse, Dridders have the lower body of a spider. And I thought they were just a myth!" Wade answered, pulling up several different detailed images and drawings of Dridders from the internet, showing Kim what exactly the freelance heroine was dealing with, despite the fact that the Dridder images were mostly or all female.
Finally getting an answer as to what sort of creature the statue was displayed as, Kim was somewhat glad that she didn't have Arachnophobia, but felt slightly creeped out as to who got the idea in creating the Dridders, as she then looked at Wade and said, "So, what you're saying is that these 'Dridders' are a bunch of 8-legged Spider-Men, huh Wade?"
"Actually, Kim. According to a few ancient transcripts, it is said that the Dridders are an all-female race. Unfortunately, I can't find anymore information, due to the lack of ancient transcripts that are still intact. So, good luck!" Wade replied, ending the transmission to Kim's Kimmunicator, leaving her flying solo on this mission. After all, she had Ron and Rufus standing by as backup in case something happened to her during the mission.
Shortly after climbing inside the humongous Dridder statue and cautiously treading through the temple's trap-filled hallways, Kim managed to make her way to her objective, which came in the form of....
