They Find You

You look around to one side of the tree to see if they had left. You don't see anyone and you can't hear their calls anymore. You bring your head back and let out a sigh, thinking they left. Suddenly, someone puts their hand on your shoulder.
"Hey, you alright? You ran off like you saw a monster."
"Yeah, I'm...fine." You tried to disguise your voice as much as possible, still thinking they may not recognize you. Sadly, it wasn't good enough
"Hey, do we know you from somewhere?"
You freeze up, not knowing what to do. You go with your first instinct, and...
