After a few worrisome moments of staring at you, your Pikachu finally smiles. She squeaks happily and brings your tiny body up against her soft red-furred cheek, nuzzling you.
You let out a sigh of relief. You were initially afraid about what she might do now that you were so tiny compared to her. But even with your new size, it’s clear your beloved Pokemon has zero desire to hurt you. You never should’ve doubted her.
“You’re just a big softie,” you say with a chuckle.
Your Pikachu moves you away from her cheek, holding you out in front of her once again. She’s still smiling warmly at you, and you think her adorable face seems even cuter now that it’s huge. In fact, overall, you find that you don’t really mind what just happened to you. Sure, being shrunken by a Pokemon is quite startling, but you doubt you’ll be stuck like this forever—if there’s a way to make people shrink, there must also be a way to make them grow, so you believe you’ll be able to undo this. Also, you know you can trust your Pokemon partner, so you don’t feel afraid of her. For now, you think it would be a good idea to try and enjoy this sudden change.
You and your Pokemon gaze at each other for a few more moments, then you clear your throat. “So, Pikachu,” you say. “I don’t exactly hate this, but this is... pretty weird. How did you learn to shrink me? I never taught you how to do that sort of purple lightning.”
Pikachu says something in the Pokemon language, but you can’t understand what she’s saying. She realizes this too. She falls silent, and simply shrugs. You’ll have to find some other way to get the info out of her.
“Well, I’ll ask you more about it later,” you say. “For now, I guess I should ask: why did you shrink me? Just to test out that power of yours?”
Pikachu shakes her head. So she must have more of a reason. You have an idea. She’s always been very affectionate and playful, so maybe she thought this was a good way to have some fun with you in a new way?
“Then... did you shrink me because you want to play with me?” you ask.
