Alex snatched the key from Zack's hand and immediately felt an electrical like force causing his hand to tightly grip it.
"What is this?! What is going on?"
He felt the energy in his hand climb up his arm causing him to point the key outward. That same energy ran through the rest of his body turning him to point the key in a space between his friends.
From beneath Zack and Sam's shirt glowed the outline of their hearts with little keyholes in the middle. The key, tightly gripped in Alex's hand, glowed brightly in response before shooting out a beam that split in two and connected with each of the keyholes. The keyholes in their heart vanished as the outlines of their heart filled in. The glowing key was then absorbed into Alex's hand.
A voice spoke from above, "In this world. True love is so hard to find. A mystery. A locked box. This mansion is your gift. Where the needless puzzle is solved with the lock undone. Enjoy your love..."
The door clicked and opened by itself- inviting the three in.
