“So what you are saying is that you unintentionally wished to become a snake and what? Need help?” she asked both if she got your story right and what your intensions were at this point.
“Yeah I guess you could put it that way. But I don’t know what to do from here. So yeah I guess I wouldn’t mind a little help. I mean other than any instinctual things that came along with my little make over I have no idea what I should do or what I will need. I never even had a pet snake before. Like I said, you probably know more than I do.” You say, getting a little worked up.
“Well that is a problem isn’t it? Most snakes usually learn what they need to know when growing up, or they die. This would also give me the unusual opportunity to learn along with you. Tell me would you mind being my project?” she asked as she sat against the back of her chair as she thought of the possibilities of such a willing… partner. However it sounded to you awfully like being a lab rat of some sort. On the other hand you realized that you didn’t really have too many choices. Without some serious help you would probably die or become an unwilling lab rat.
In the end it came down to trust. Would you trust that this woman would really take care of you and shelter you while you learned how to… operate correctly? Or would you prefer to try your luck when the others came back into the room?
