"I don't believe that." She said. "There is no way that a boy could transform into a snake."
"Oh, and I suppose you think that I'm not talking to you right now either?" You snap back.
"That has to be a trick!" Eve shouts, then catches herself. She takes a few deep breaths to settle down. "I'll admit that you're like nothing I've ever seen before. One look at your scale patterns is enough to tell that you're no ordinary anaconda. Not to mention that it's unlikely that one could have come to this area on it's own. But you're asking me to believe in magic."
"What other explanation could there be?" you ask.
She stays quiet for a while, probably debating whether or not to continue talking to a figment of her imagination.
"You couldn't have come this far on your own, which means that someone must have brought you here for some reason. Some rich idiot probably; I don't want to think of the other possibilities."
You try to work out what she could mean, but it hits you soon. "You think I'm... some kind of assassin?"
"Owned by one was my thought, but... I shouldn't get ahead of myself." She quietly responds.
You decide to try to stop this line of reasoning. "I didn't kill myself- that is Jake!" You try to use reason. "You said yourself snakes don't digest that fast."
