Renamon watched ryan from the treetops as he made his camp in the waterfall cave.
~Hmm, how can I get him to trust me?~ she asked herself
As she was thinking an answer to this question, ryan was setting up his camp in the cave and he had some food left before he had to go hunting for something to eat. He know what to and not to eat plus has knowledge of what plants and herbs to use for medicine.
“I have to find some food before I run out of my supply.” He said as finished lighting the fire near the mouth of the cave
Renamon made her decision and soon ryan came out before he started walking to the direction of the lake that she know very well.
~I have to use my human form to friend him, but ash might have told him about that story.~ she thought and she jumped from tree to tree following ryan
Ryan used his bag to gather the fruits, nuts and berries, and plants that he can eat before returning to his cave; but he stopped at a lake that ash told him about before she and kain vanished. He found a pebble and threw it so it skipped across the lake.
~I might have to use my other form to friend him.~
She is watching him from a tree branch covered in leaves and he sat close to the edge of the lake.
“Ash told me a lot about this lake and kain mentioned a few times that he has been here.” He said as he sighed before getting up and picking up his pack
He looked around and started to walk back to his cave when he stopped he thought he seen something in the trees. Renamon noticed him looking at the tree that she was in and she froze not wanting to be noticed just yet, but ryan shook his head and started to walk back to his cave without looking back at the lake.
~Did he noticed me or is he acting like he thought he saw something?~ she thought as she was thinking about following him back to his cave
Ryan did noticed something in the tree, but he couldn’t tell what it was or it was friend or foe.
“Maybe for a second, I saw something in that tree.” He said and he ran to his cave
“I have been having dreams of a yellow fox and I think I saw it, but right now I need to finish gathering food.” He added as he saw his cave
Soon he put away his food and pulled out his hunting knives before leaving the cave again with a bow and arrow.
“I need to get some meat to get with my fruit and herbs.”
He is going hunting and renamon was in a tree a good distance away from his cave watching him leave for a hunt.
~Soon rena will have to meet him.~ she thought as went to keep an eye on ryan without him noticing he was being followed
“I only know some people that kain and ashley knew and I have made a few friends before I left to get away from those people who claim to be my family.” he said as he found deer and took aim of his meal
He fired his arrow and killed a deer for his meal, but he had a little trouble carrying it to his cave and sensed something. Looking around, he found a few cameras and he quickly destroyed them returned to his cave with his kill.
“I wonder how long it would before they someone to get me.” He said as he cleaned the deer and skinned it before cooking the meat and made the skin a door covering for the mouth of the cave
Renamon was still watching him after getting a quick bite to eat from her own cave.
“He is quick amazing for a young one, but still he needs a mother’s care and love.” She said
Ryan put the herbs and the meat on drying racks so he can eat them later, but he ate some of the fruit and a little of the deer meat to keep full till he was ready for a big meal.
“That should keep me full till lunch.” Ryan said as he finished making his door with the deerskin and using some of his knowledge to make the top of the deerskin stick to the top of the mouth of the cave
He made his door on the outside of the cave so he wouldn’t cough on the smoke coming from the fire and renamon was deciding when to use her human form to friend ryan. She went back to the lake where ryan was skipping that one stone across the lake and waited for him to come to the lake.
“He should be here soon.” She said
Ryan is on his way to the lake to get some for his meal, but that can wait till he is done at the lake.
“Something is telling me to come to the lake, but it might be the same thing that I saw in that tree.” Ryan said as he notice someone or something at the lake
Renamon is at the lake watching the water as she was in her human for and ryan came up to her.
“I haven’t seen you around here before.” Ryan said to her
“I’m just passing through.” The girl said
“What is your name?” she asked
“Ryan.”
“Ren.” She said
Ryan looked at her and she smiled at him before looking back at the lake. Ren has short brown hair, deep blue eyes maybe with a black tint to them and they seem to have a reflective effect to them. Wearing blue jeans, a white shirt with some writing on it looking like japanese, and a pair of purple gloves. Her ears look like Vulcan ears and she was walking around in the forest with no protection for her feet.
“What are you doing here alone?” ren asked him
Ryan looked at her before vanishing and killing the cameras in the trees then reappearing again beside her.
“Follow me and we will have an information exchange soon.” Ryan said as they walked to his cave
Ryan looked up at her and she was really tall for a person her age.
“Be warned, I don’t trust easy.” He said and she nodded
~So far, this form is working like I want it to; but how will he act towards my real form.~ ren thought
~She is tall as the renamon that ashley met when she was a teenager, but something tells me that there is more than what meets the eye.~ ryan thought as he stopped and ren followed suit
She looked him as turned his head before pulling out his knives and vanished again. Not a minute too soon he reappeared beside her and they some hissing coming from the trees.
“I have to destroy any hidden cameras or I will be found and be taken back by force.” Ryan said as he continued to walk to his cave and ren followed him
Soon they are at the mouth of his cave and they went inside before he closed his deerskin door.
“Now the story I’m about to tell you is why I’m living out here alone.” He said and she nodded
Ryan told her his story and he could tell that she was about to cry and she gave him a hug.
“That is a sad story, but you knew kain and ashley.” She said
“They left and I had to leave because I was tired of my foster parents fighting over me.” Ryan said as he prepared a meal for ren and himself   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
