"Well aren't you a kind little girl, thank you dearie, I only hope you remain this way in your youth, many become less, respectful to us older folk." The old woman said as Cindy helped her cross the street.
"I'll do my best." Cathy smiled as the two crossed finally reaching the other side.
"Say, shouldn't you be in school dearie?" The elderly woman said.
"Nope, its Saturday, no school!" Cathy said politely yet still excited. "Is there anything else you need?" She tilted her head curious.
"Ah yes, so it is, sometimes I forget the date, it all goes by so fast." The elder smiled. "No no I can manage from here but thank you for your kindness." The Elderly woman reached into her purse.
"No thank you!" Cathy said gently placing her hand on the Elder's.
"Not even a dollar?" The old woman smiled. "How gentle and kind you are my dear." Cathy smiled.
"Thank you for the compliment! See you later!" She then walked off with a smile.
"You are so gentle." A voice spoke in her mind.
"Eh?" Cathy looked around. "Huh..." She shrugged and began walking once more. Cindy exited her ship making herself and the ship invisible as she slowly descended landing on the ground.
"Dear child, would you be willing to help ALL human?" Cindy's voice once more reached Cathy's mind.
"Uhhhhhhh she looked around again."
"I'm speaking to you via telepathy." Cathy was confused by the word. "It means to your mind, my thoughts reach your mind, you merely need to think to speak to me child."
Cathy thought to herself "Like this? Can you hear me uh...Ma'am?"
"Yes that is perfect! My name is Cindy my dear, and you are?"
"Cathy it's a pleasure to meet you Ma'am!"
"Oh, you may call me Cindy dear."
"It's...a bit odd calling an adult by their first name Ma'am. It will take time for me to get used to." Cathy was unsure but she did enjoy talking to this woman (Or who she assumed was another human somehow)
"Then how about 'Teacher' that is if you accept my offer."
"About helping humans? Oh and uh...what or where are you?" Cathy looked around some more "I'm sorry I didn't-" She was cut off by Cindy's gentle laughter which oddly made Cathy smile. It was heartwarming actually.
"I'm an alien, I know it's hard to believe." Cathy nodded. "Well take a look up for me then dear?" Cathy did so then took a step back in shock, the 100ft woman was terrifying but only for a moment.
"C-can't anyone else see you?" She thought.
"No, just you, my technology allows me to chose who I reveal myself to based on DNA sequences and-" She stopped when she saw Cathy's look of confusion. "The short version is I am here to help humanity, however...there's a problem, I cannot shrink myself any smaller than this, and if others saw me they would likely be terrified of me, I do not want that, I do not wish to harm anyone either, so, what I want to do is make you, a human grow, you'll be a VERY tall girl. Then I will tell you what to say to them along with the do's and don't with your new size. Of course you do not have to accept this. i won't-"
"How big will I be?!" Cathy chirped excited. "Sorry, that was rude!" She sighed. "I'm really sorry Ma'am"
"it's fine, you're excited and this is new to you, if you do not mind, I am going to teleport you outside the city, that is if you wish to grow!"
"YES PLEASE!!!" Cathy almost yelled aloud.
"Excellent and thank you for accepting this. It's very helpful."
