Ash was freaking out however, granted everyone was as well but him especially more. This was far, far, far from what he considered normal but even then, he should have seen it coming, the portal wasn't just gonna drop him and leave him be. It had to throw even more crazy into the mix.
Nevertheless, the children stood up as their gargantuan teacher had stood still to allow them to move. They soon realized that the white plain, was the school tiles on the floor, it was a start. From then on they compared themselves to her heels. Giant was an understatement at this point, they were massive! As big as a cruise liner if they were to compared. This only added to they're stature, as they feel smaller now than before.
"Who knew the Frizz would do something like this?" Wanda whispered.
"Never thought she was one for..." Arnold gulped, "...shrinking students."
"Well we have been small before, just...never at this size, and...with her...only..." Phoebe added as she was shaking a bit.
"Oh come on guys, it's not that bad," Ralphie added as he was feeling adventurous and wanted to explore more. "Come on, let's see what else we can find at this view!" Running ahead to the other side of the Frizzle's shoe.
"If you say so," Wanda yelled as she chased after him.
Meanwhile, Tim, Carlos, and Dorothy Ann were still trying to find an exact size that they were around. "Never thought we be at the short end of the heel," Carlos said unattended.
"I would normally groan, but this time you're right," Dorothy said as they looked up towards the massive heel that seemed to never end. "Theoretically, this shouldn't be possible, then again, Ms. Frizzle has defied science and its laws dozens of times...yet I can never get used to it!"
"We've been Frizzled," Tim added, "Big time." Giving an unintentional pun.
"More like Massive," Carlos interjected. Nevertheless, as the children walked near her, Ms. Frizzle couldn't help but have a smile on her face. Sure she loved being a teacher but as any person, she did have her secrets. Since a child she has had an affinity towards....well size change to be exact. She couldn't explain why, but she was in love with it. Even after her years of teaching science and studying it, she could never figure it out what attracted her so much towards the subject but it
With that knowledge, it would explain why the bus could magically shrink down to microscopic size, and the portable shrink ray that she carried around. However, she never really had a chance to use to their fullest, until Ash appeared. She knew he wasn't from around here, and not just location but dimension all together. Why? Well, learning science and creating earth shattering discoveries gave you a thing or two to pick up about people. Still, she did see this as an opportunity to shrink him to small size, her class was just a....added by product towards her desire.
Looking down even more unto them, she couldn't really resist playing with her tiny pupils. Hurting them would not be a problem however; she wouldn't be able to live with herself if she did do something such horrible. Thus her science helped her in that. Shrunken down to where their molecules became more compact, thus more resistant, to almost anything. She had experimented before, so she was sure of that. But the question now was, what would be her first choice of playtime?
