Sigh,"So bored. I know being a Gym Leader can be slow, but this is ridiculous," Sabrina muttered to herself.
It had been three weeks since the last trainer had come to the gym. In those three weeks she had run out of things to occupy her time. Training her pokemon was pointless if no one came to the gym.
'Like they need it,' she thought with pride at the strength of her pokemon. Sadly the thought only lifted her spirits for a short time. Running her hand through her metallic blue hair one last time, she got up from couch and walked into her kitchen for something to eat. Walking to the her fridge, she begins to pull out a pre-made green salad. Something behind it catches her eye, reaching passed the salad, she pulls out a plate with a piece of chocolate cake on it.
'Hmmm, I don't remember putting this in the fridge.' She thought. Suddenly the memory come to her.
"Hey cuz," said a loud teen age girl as she twirled in a circle in front of Sabrina. Sabrina just glared at her cousin.
"What do you want, Sonia?" The young girl twisted her cyan colored hair.
"You missed my birthday," Sabrina's eyes soften.
"Sonia, I am so sorry. I have been so busy at the gym I forgot.""I know so I brought you a piece of birthday cake."
'Sonia.'
Grabbing a fork from the silverware drawer, she sat down at the table. She stared at the cake for a few minutes. 'When was the last time I had sweets?' She looked down at her trim, fit body. She had worked so hard to keep herself fit. Shaking herself out of her thought, she shrugged. 'One piece of cake isn't going to kill me.'
Taking a small bite of cake, she nearly dropped her fork. " Oh my god!!!" she whispered breathlessly. The sudden burst of flavor caught her off guard. She quickly devoured the cake. Leaning back in her chair and sighed in content.
