You realize that Sarina dfidn't know that it was you who saved her due to the fact that she was still blindfolded. You decide that you should give her your jacket so she could cover up her upper body. The skirt part of her dress wasn't that bad, just a few tears near the bottom. As she felt the warmth of your jacket over her, she said "Oh, thank you. You're so kind. May I have the honor of meeting my hero now?" She was obviously asking you to take off her blindfold. As she saw your face, she instantly gasped in shock. Then tears formed in her eyes. She started sniffling while you watched her with a confused look. "Are you okay, Sarina?" you ask her.
"I'm fine." she replied. "It's just that... you saved me, after what I said to you back at the castle. Why?"
"Well," you answer, "first of all, I could just watch that guy try to have his way with you and let him get away with it. Secondly, I wasn't really mad with you."
"You weren't?" she said, looking confused. "Why not?"
You gulped, knowing what you walked yourself into. You had to tell Sarina how you felt. There was no turning back.
"It's because I love you, Sarina." you finally manage to say. "I couldn't be mad with you just because you didn't like me back."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "I...... I had no idea." she said. "I'm sorry I said what I said. I was being a bitch."
"It's okay," you say. "Now, you said some thing about a reward, right." Sarina laughed. "Fine," she said. "Close your eyes."
"You're not gonna punch me are you?" you say jokingly. Just then, you feel Sarina's arms wrap around you, and her lips push up against yours. You were surprised at what just happened. Your true love finally kissing you! The kiss lasted for about ten seconds before she stopped. "Was that a good enough reward?" she asked. "Perfect." you say.
"Let's get out of here. I'll carry you home." you tell Sarina.
"Okay, but we should go in the castle silently. I't'll be a nightmare for me if my parents see me like this."
"I was thinking the same thing." you chuckled. "C'mon. Let's go." Sarina hopped on your back and the two of you sneaked in to the castle through the back door. As you let Sarina into her room, you tell her "You should clean yourself up before your parents see you."
"You're right." she replied. "Luckily I have a dress just like this one. They won't suspect a thing."
You chuckle as you make your way out of the princess's room.
"Oh, and [your name]," she says before you leave. You turn your head to hear what she had to say. "I love you too." she says as she blows you a kiss. All you could do was smile. As you closed the door, your little smile instantly grew to an even bigger one as you silently celebrate the fact that Sarina finally loves you!
