Your moment of awe is interrupted by the starting of an engine. The bus was still operational. An uplifting cheer is issued to the driver when he slams the pedal and the bus dashes forward. Most people sit down and enjoy the safari, but you walk up to the driver and ask him how much gas there is left. He says there should be enough to get somewhere and you nod with appreciation, but you can't help wondering where somewhere is. You seem to be in the wildest part of Africa, after all. You have a seat right behind the driver and stare out of the window. Most of the time your view is blocked by tall grass, but occasionally you get a glimpse of a magnificent sight.
