As you laid on the counter, you watched as your giant sister Ashley went to see who was at the door. This was the time, time for you to get to your mother. You'd tell her the truth, how Ashley had shrunken you, and you'd hopefully get returned to normal size. The only problem. . where would you go? There wasn't exactly a lot of places to go to?
"Mom!!" Ashley yelled, returning into the room once again. She was carrying about 5 boxes from Amazon. "Where do I put all of this?"
Your mother rushed over towards your sister.
"Oh, all the Christmas presents have arrived!! How delightful!! Can you go put those in my bedroom to wrap? Aunt Carrino is going to arrive tomorrow and I want them all to be a surprise. . and no peeking for your gifts, little missy!!"
"Oh, but mom. .can't I open just one of them?" Ashley said in a pouty voice.
"Maybe just one later, but for now go put them away."
You watched as she left the room. Meanwhile, you had moved far away from the counter you were at and a lot closer to the kitchen sink. Your mother had been hovering by where all the food was at. That's where you needed to be for her to find you. The cookies were a little further to the right of your current position, maybe if you could get around that then. .
"You'll shoot your eye out!!" came from the blaring TV mom to little Ralphie. It seemed the Christmas Story was on. Your family had a tradition to always watch the Christmas Story every year, and it seemed that this year would not be the exception.
"Hey!!" Ashley yelled from the other room. "Is that a Christmas Story? You better not be watching it without me!!"
"No dear, but I do think I might make us a little bit of popcorn for the film."
You had finally made your way over to the side that your mother was on. You had climbed up a bag of flour and started to wave at your mom. You could stay here and keep waving, or you could jump on the nearby spatula holders and see if that'd be a better place to get her attention.
