With a swift, fluid motion, Lauren extracted her phone from her jeans pocket, and dialled a number she'd practically memorised;
"Kel? You there?"
"Kel is not here right now, please leave a message after the beep." Her friend's voice droned monotonously over the phone, followed by a stifled giggle.
"Aww damn, answerphone." Lauren humoured her friend's efforts, "Well, just thought I'd ring and let you know that I've got a new toy, Kel! Do you wanna come over and play with it? We can PLAY with it TOGETHER!"
A forced silence echoed through the phone, evidently of Kelly trying not to scream, and Lauren decided to put on a huskier voice, "So I'll uhh... just be waitin' for you. Come over to mine when you get this, okay?"
And Lauren hung up. Sitting back on her bed, with the shrinking remote in her lap. Now all she had to do was-
*knock knock knock*
"...holy crap that was quick." Lauren snickered, swinging forwards off of her bed and heading for the door. However...
