As you were ripped from your world, bright lights and loud sounds blaring throughout the entire trip. You felt as though you were falling, a pit in your stomach and some form of "wind" in your face that you didn't quite recognize. All of the bright lights and loud sounds finally stopped, albeit suddenly, as you landed with a smack on the ground.
Opening your eyes, all you could see were black masses and shapes, as well as bright white stars twinkling about in front of you. Slowly, you started to gain your ground back, stumbling over your own feet a few times before you could finally stand. The black masses started to take the form of stone blocks, and the stars finally faded. It was still dark, however, and it left you with very little visibility. Luckily, you could see the edge of what looked like a very large stone wall. You stumbled over to it, trying your hardest to jump up and grab the ledge. After a few unsuccessful tries, you were finally able to lift yourself up.
Looking over the edge of the wall nearly made you sick, a horrible sense of vertigo taking over your body. What you saw over the ledge was a brightly lit city, cars and buildings flashing lightly below. Knocked back by a that horrid sense, you fell backwards from the stone perch. You landed with a little thump, the wind getting knocked from you from such a seemingly short fall. You had to struggle to get back up, rolling over and looking upward.
Your eyes had finally grown accustomed to the low light, and what you saw this time actually shocked you. You were at a castle! And judging by your surroundings, it had to be the castle made famous by the cartoon "Gargoyles". This was absolutely surreal. The strangest part about it was that it looked much larger than it should be. The massive arch that was around the center of the castle seemed incredibly larger than what it used to be. Finally, your eyes had reached their peak performance, and it absolutely terrified you. The arch that you so recognized was not, indeed, the arch that was normally supposed to be large. It was a DOORWAY!
Before you had time to panic, you could hear muffled voices echoing through the halls, and getting closer. You had to find a place to hide. Wedging yourself between two stone blocked, you watched the doorway, waiting to see who was coming up.
A shape moves it's way through the doorway and into the light....
