A section divided.

The southern region of Russia (referred to as the "Garden of Russia") was the only part of Russia to unintentionally retain a part of U.S history... to an extent, that is.

Around the 2666 catastrophe, the African-American immigrants who had survived the destruction and escaped had made their way to Russia to start a new life. Unfortunately for them, the Russian people had no sentiment for the Blacks or their plight. In fact, they were soon working as slaves, as their ancestors had on American soil for generations.

Blackusurp was no fool, however. He knew what the African-Americans had in America and he was going to make sure that they never had that. Claiming that the Blacks "owed" Russia for providing them salvation and sanctuary, he made them slaves and, to add an ironic, yet cruel, twist to their enslavement, forced them to work on the farms that made up Southern Russia and live in poorly-built homes while their white owners lived in lavish houses. Thus, Southern Russia was divided into the Black South and the White South.

So, where does our story take place?
