Chapter #5A small occurance. by: J117   Nathan blinks, as his eyes try to focus. He looks around, and Megan is gone. He calls for her, and she doesn't answer; then, he sees something, on the ground on the other side of the table that they were sitting at.
A pile of clothes, the same clothes that Megan should be wearing. He approaches the clothes, kneels down, and stares at them, "W-what the hell? Why are her clothes here? Does this mean shes naked!?".
He touches the clothing, and then starts to pick each piece up. Taking each article of clothing, he folds and puts them on the table, but it was when he reached the bottom of the pile that he learned what happened to his friend.
There, in her white panties, was a sleeping shrunken Megan. He guesses that she is only 7-8 inches tall as he carefully separates her from her underwear and picks her up. Holding the small sleeping girl in his hands, he just stares at her, not knowing what to do.
Nathan: I-I guess I should take her to my house?
Putting her clothes in her bag, he takes his bag, her bag, and Megan to his house.
Fortunately for him, both of his parents work and are gone for weeks or longer at a time, he has an older sister, but she too is busy with College, so he often sees her once, maybe, a week.
He puts their bags in his room and takes her to the kitchen. He lays her down on a counter and puts the book that caused this by her.
Nathan: What the hell am I going to do now? And how am I going to explain this to her?
He drapes a hand towel , that he took from the kitchen, over her, then starts to look at the book.
While he tries to find a way to reverse the spell, Megan wakes up.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
